Our strategy is to utilize our unique patented technology platform to offer innovative and profitable licensing opportunities to selected pharmaceutical companies with significant market potential as partners. Our technology and know-how can enable you to create new topical products and/or prolong current patented products. We also encourage inquiries from potential new investors and collaboration with other companies and academia. We will even consider an acquisition.
The Company’s current focus is based on the significance of unmet medical need and the time-to-market process for its solutions in selected market segments. We primarily offer solutions for the pharmaceutical industry but our technology can also be explored for niche cosmeceutical markets and for technical-use product categories. Typical examples are:
- Developing completely novel products for pharmaceutical use
- Medical device use
e.g. plasters, bandages and wound-healing devices
- Improving and/or extending patent lives of products already on the market
- Cosmeceutical product use
- Technical use
e.g. prevention of microbial growth in lenses and lens fluids
e.g. surface coatings of medicinal devices
DermaGen does not use its own capacity to perform late-stage clinical development, submission of NDA, or undertake manufacturing, marketing and sales of products. All late stage development activities will be most likely handled by partners or any acquirer organization.
In summary, DermaGen AB is actively supporting earlier stage corporate research collaborations where the combination of technologies, resources, and expertise can advance product candidates more effectively.
